22nd Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show
Presented in Brand Partnership with Patron Tequila
Tuesday, August 13, 9-11 pm (8-9 pm reception)
Criss Angel Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Las Vegas
It’s still the only awards show in the world honoring gentlemen’s clubs, club staff and feature entertainers, and in 2019 the multi-billion-dollar adult club industry will once again collectively descend on Las Vegas to honor the best of the best. The 2019 Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show—the ED Awards—will be held on August 13th during the Annual Gentlemen’s Club Expo at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The 2019 ED Awards Show is presented in a brand partnership with Patron Tequila, and will be hosted by top comedian and Comedy Central star, Chris Distefano.
The 2019 ED Awards Show will be held at the brand new Criss Angel Theater inside Planet Hollywood, from 9-11 pm (reception from 8-9 pm). The Show will also boast command performances by the three ED’s Entertainer of the Year nominees, as well as special guest presenters. Clubs are presented awards in four regions (East, South, Central and West) and in two categories (large and smaller clubs/markets). ED Publications, producers of the Awards Show, will also induct at least one industry professional into its “Hall of Fame,” as its done each year since the Award Show’s inception in 1998.
“We’re very excited to be in a brand new theater, right there on site at Planet Hollywood,” says ED Publications’ Associate Publisher, Dave Manack. “Having Patron Tequila on board in our first-ever ‘brand partnership’ is definitely a feather in our cap!”
More about Chris Distefano:
If you watch Comedy Central, you’ve definitely seen Chris Distefano. His own TV show? Yes—a series called “Stupid Questions with Chris Distefano” which airs on Friday nights. His own one-hour special? Yes—“Chris Distefano: Size 38 Waist” premiered in January 2019. And after recently being signed to an exclusive deal with Comedy Central, expect Chris to be a fixture on the channel that showcases the top current and up-and-coming comedians in the world.
Chris first burst onto the scene as a standout on MTV’s talking heads franchise Guy Code/Girl Code, with PopSugar naming him the “funniest guy on MTV.” He went on to star in the IFC series Benders and serve as co-host of Netflix’s Ultimate Beastmaster. He has appeared on TruTV’s Comedy Knockout and MSG Network’s People Talking Sports, and he has performed stand-up on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, and AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live.

Hot comedian Jessimae Peluso to host 2018 “Black & White” ED’s Awards Show
Presented by Capital Hero, the ED’s Awards Show will be held at The Joint Theater inside the Hard Rock Casino on Tuesday, August 21
It’s the night the entire multi-billion-dollar gentlemen’s club industry waits for, the night where their industry is honored with its only national awards show. The 2018 Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards Show—the ED’s Awards—will grace the stage of The Joint Theater at the Hard Rock Vegas on Tuesday, August 21, during the 26th Annual Gentlemen’s Club EXPO. This year’s “Black & White” Awards Show is presented by Capital Hero and will be hosted by hot comedian Jessimae Peluso.
“She may be easy on the eyes, but that’s where the ‘gentle’ side of Jessimae Peluso ends,” says ED Publications’ Associate Publisher and ED’s Awards Show co-producer Dave Manack. “When we decided to bring a comedian back to host the Awards Show, we knew it had to be someone different than any host we’ve had before, and that’s exactly what Awards Show guests will witness with Jessimae!”
The ED’s Awards Show, presented by Capital Hero, honors the best-of-the-best in the adult nightclub and feature entertainer industries, with awards presented to clubs in both regional and national categories. The 2018 ED’s Awards Show will feature co-emcees DJ Platypus and Jimmy Boucher, as well as on-stage DJ Darcie Dolce (adult film star & feature entertainer), as well as in-show pole acrobatics from gorgeous entertainers Reya Sunshine, Mila DeLuna, Annie Lane and SharZayn.
Among the voting categories, the most prestigious award for touring feature entertainers is the Overall Entertainer of the Year Award. Three entertainers are nominated for this award; two are chosen from the Annual EDI (Exotic Dancer Invitational) Contests, the third is chosen as a “wild card” nominee based in part on pre-nomination voting at the ED Awards website (www.theEDawards.com). The three Entertainer of the Year nominees for 2017 are Natasha Nova, Simone Danalustrous and Bellzora, and each will perform live at The Joint during the Awards show.
Among the voting categories, the most prestigious category is the “Overall Gentlemen’s Club of the Year” Award. This year, 10 clubs across the U.S. count themselves among the very best in the industry. They are (in alphabetical order): Blush in Pittsburgh; Bucks Wild in Dallas; E11EVEN in Miami; Gold Club in Charlotte, NC; Hustler Club in Las Vegas; Penthouse Club in New Orleans; LA; Pony Club in Huntsville, AL; Sapphire in New York City; Spearmint Rhino in Dallas; and Tootsie’s Cabaret in N. The EXPO 2018 “Splash Bash” and $10,000 Bikini Contest,
Rehab Pool at the Hard Rock
Wednesday, August 22, 2-7 pm
Back by very popular demand, we return to the world-famous Rehab Pool at the Hard Rock Vegas for the EXPO “Splash Bash” and $10K Bikini Contest. And since everyone couldn’t seem to get enough of a good thing in 2017, we’ve added two hours to make it a five-hour event that will bring the 2018 Gentlemen’s Club EXPO to a raucous close!
Of course, the highlight of the “Splash Bash” is the bikini contest, where we’ll once again be giving away $5,000 in cash and $5,000 in advertising with ED (magazine and website). For feature entertainers, that means cash and advertising for you; for clubs who enter their “house” entertainers, that’s cash for them and advertising credit for you! And since we’re limiting the contest to just 50 entrants, attendees are going to see only the hottest touring showgirls, adult film stars and gentlemen’s club entertainers bare (almost) all for a share in the $10,000 prize!
We also have some very special guest announcements for the Splash Bash, including guest emcees and DJs, so stay tuned.
The EXPO Splash Bash and $10,000 Bikini Contest is presented by Religion Tequila and co-sponsored by Associated Agencies and Buck’s Cabaret.
FEATURE ENTERTAINERS: The $5,000 cash prize goes to the top 3 winners of the contest, and the $5,000 in advertising/promo can be applied to the ED Club Bulletin (magazine) or online advertising.

An eclectic jewel box, Vanity is adorned with pearls and hand cut crystals fused with bronze and gold, surrounded by antique mirrors, rubbed brass and black chrome. The startling sumptuousness of velvets, deep satins and rich tapestries add to the gleaming textures throughout the club, creating a perfect backdrop of reflective brilliance. Show will honor industry’s top clubs and entertainers, and will feature headline performances by world-renown act Recycled Percussion
On August 29th, 2017, the entire adult nightclub industry will be focused on The Joint Theater at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas to find out which adult clubs and feature entertainers take home top honors for the ED’s 20th Annual Adult Nightclub & Exotic Dancer Awards. The industry’s only national awards show is held each year at the Annual Gentlemen’s Club EXPO, and this year the 25th Anniversary EXPO will host the ED’s Awards Show at The Joint Theater inside the Hard Rock on Tuesday, August 29th. Famed Vegas act Recycled Percussion will headline the show, which will also feature command performances by the ED’s Entertainer of the Year nominees.
Whether seen as a finalist on "America's Got Talent" or at their own Vegas show, at the 2017 EXPO, attendees will witness them ignite the stage at the Hard Rock's Joint Theater on Tuesday, August 29th. RECYCLED PERCUSSION is the featured act at this year's ED's Awards Show, and will perform throughout the evening as ED Publications (producers of the Annual EXPO and Awards Show) present Awards to the industry's top adult nightclubs and feature entertainers. Called "flat out bad bass" by the Las Vegas Review Journal and featured on "The Today Show," Recycled Percussion has performed over 4,000 shows and over 400 corporate events in over 15 countries since their smash performance on "America's Got Talent" (2009 season).
"While EXPO and Awards Show guests have seen lots of great acts over the past two decades, they've never seen anything like Recycled Percussion," says ED Publications' Associate Publisher, Dave Manack. "This year's ED's Awards Show will kick off with a bang, and there's no telling where the show goes from there!"
Among the adult nightclub voting categories, the most prestigious category is the “Overall Gentlemen’s Club of the Year” Award. This year, 10 clubs across the U.S. count themselves among the very best in the industry. They are (in alphabetical order): Delilah’s in Philadelphia; E11EVEN in Miami; Fantasy Castle in Long Beach; Gold Club in Charlotte, NC; Hustler Club in E St. Louis, IL; Penthouse Club in Baton Rouge, LA; Platinum 84 in Denver; Scarlett’s Cabaret in Hallandale (Miami); Scores in New York City; and Spearmint Rhino in Las Vegas.
Among the six entertainer award categories, the most prestigious is the Overall Entertainer of the Year Award, as each nominee performs live during the ED’s Awards Show at The Joint. Two Entertainer of the Year (EOY) nominees were decided by the EDI (Exotic Dancer Invitational) East & West Contests; Aria Moon won the Showgirl Division at the EDI East (Pony Club, Indianapolis), while Natasha Nova took home top Showgirl Division honors at the EDI West (Platinum 84, Denver). The third EOY nominee — Angela Sommers — was chosen based on results from the pre-nomination voting ballot. Reigning EOY Lacey Rain will be on hand to pass on the award to the incoming Entertainer of the Year.
In keeping with the 25th Anniversary EXPO theme, this year's show at The Joint Theater is a semi-formal affair. Awards Special Presenters will include former ED Hall of Fame inductees and Entertainer of the Year winners and nominees, and the show will be co-emceed by DJ Platypus and the beautiful adult starlet, feature entertainer and Penthouse Pet, Jayden Cole.
Note: Several awards will also be presented the previous evening at the EXPO’s Opening Night Party on Monday, August 28th, at the Hard Rock’s Vanity Nightclub.
Entertainers compete for $5,000 cash AND $5,000 in advertising/promo! Contest is presented by Platinum 84 and co-sponsored by Associated Agencies.
EXPO "Chill Day" just got a whole lot hotter with the return of the $10,000 Bikini Contest! In a nod to the late Jerry Reid of Pure Gold's big-money bikini contests of the late '90s and early 2000s, ED Publications and the EXPO have brought back an event that always generated a buzz of excitement. The contest, which will be held at the Hard Rock's famous Rehab Pool on Wednesday, August 30th, is presented by Denver's Platinum 84, also the host of the EDI West contest June 22-24. The contest is also sponsored by Associated Agencies.
"Anyone who was there for the previous Bikini Contests knows what a bash they were!" says ED Publications' Associate Publisher, Dave Manack. "Now, with Platinum 84 as our contest title sponsors, we've brought the big cash prize back, and we'll have an afternoon by the pool with a bevy of gorgeous entertainers in bikinis—who wouldn't love that?!"
PLEASE NOTE! Cabanas are also available for $1750 and come with one free bottle (and set-up)! Get out of that 100-plus-degree heat with your own private cabana, but don't wait! These cabanas will sell out! Find out more here. https://www.theedexpo.com/get-a-pool-party-cabana
